Ken Wallace of Victoria, B.C. wanted to give Canadians a message they had never heard before. He wrote the book Republic of Canada, Why Canada Needs to Become a Republic Now. An overwhelming response to the book from all over Canada resulted in the forming of a group of Founders who held meetings to discuss and debate the idea of a complete change of political system in Canada.  Ken is anxious to make contact with you and welcomes your inquiries.  Please feel free to call or email anytime.

In 2002, the DECLARATION OF CANADIAN INDEPENDENCE was debated and adopted by the Founders as the Creed for our Movement.

The movement spread to Alberta where a media blitz took place late in 2002 with press publicity, a road tour and live radio interview on The Rutherford Show, QR77 in Calgary.

A structural meeting was held in Nanaimo, BC in April, 2003 where major decisions were made regarding the direction of our Movement. In order to get our message out, it was decided that the first priority was to launch an official website.

Many Canadians are excited about our message and believe that to gain complete Independence under a new Constitutional Republic is the only way Canadians can stop the abuse by our governments against the People and keep the Country United. Where will Canadians tie the rope? Around the West? Will it include Ontario? Quebec? We believe we should let Canadians decide. Therefore, our goal is to show them the road to freedom and to spark the long overdue raging debate.

Ludwig Von Mises. . "Everything brought forward in favor of socialism during the last hundred years, in thousands of writings and speeches, all the blood which has been spilt by the supporters of socialism, cannot make socialism workable.  Nothing has shaken the proof that under socialism economic calculation is impossible."
